What special programs do you offer for adult drivers?
We offer specialized programs for adult drivers, including adult improvement courses, advanced driving techniques, and our exclusive Master Driver Program. These courses are designed to help adults enhance their driving skills and confidence on the road.
When may I get my permit?
Once I have completed 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours of behind the wheel training and I am 15 years old.
What is needed on my 1st day of driver's education class?
A copy of the birth certificate and social security card.
Parents will also need to complete the contract and also take a Restricted Instruction Permit Form
Will I need to go to the DMV to get my eyes checked?
Yes, it is required to take the Restricted Instruction Permit form along with original birth certificate and original social security card to the DMV before the behind the wheel training.
Can I take the Restricted Instruction Permit form to my family or eye doctor?
The form MUST be completed by the local DMV
What do I need to take to the DMV when I go to get my permit?
Faulkner's Certificate of Completion (I will get this once I've completed 30 hrs of classroom and 6 hrs behind the wheel training)
Certificate of Eligibility (I will get this from my current high school I attend)
Original Birth Certificate
Original Social Security card
How long do I have to keep my permit before I can get my license?
You must keep your permit for an entire year from the date you received it. Unless you turn 18 years old before that year is up.
How many people are in the car during the driving instruction?
We provide 1 on 1 instruction. However, a student may pair with another Faulkner's Driving School student but it must be scheduled at the same time.
Can my parent ride with me during my behind the wheel time?
Yes, Parents only and only if they are quiet and not backseat drivers :)
Can I be picked up from home for my driving lesson?
No, but Faulkners does offer after school pick up immediately after school for the local school areas
Can my appointment end at home?
We can end the last appointment of the day at home depending on the location of the home. Our appointments typically start and finish at our office.
How are the 6 hours of behind the wheel scheduled?
We do 3 days/2 hours each day.
What days can I drive?
We drive 7 days a week (Sundays are very limited)
What times are the classes?
Our weekend classes are Fridays 4-7 Saturdays 8-2 Sundays 1-7
Our week long classes are Monday - Friday 8-2
When can I start Driver's Education?
You must be 14.5 to start
What if I am available to drive on the weekends only?
It may take longer to get on the schedule if you are limited to weekends only because they fill up the fastest.
What do I need if I completed the 30 hours of the classroom at another school?
We will need a copy of the 30 hours certificate of completion
When can I schedule my behind the wheel driving?

Driver Improvement Teen vs Adult What is the different between the two programs?
Teen drivers are required by law to drive for one year and log 60 hours of driving during that time. The hours completed at Faulkner’s Driving School may be added to their driving log.
Adults
At Faulkner’s Driving School, we don’t focus on passing the road test and getting a license, but providing The student with the essential safety tools needed to drive safely for the rest of your life.
Shop Pay Installments
- Note: Monthly payments require a debit card
- Credit cards can only be used on 4 bi-weekly installments
- Shop Pay is unable to accept Capital One cards, prepaid debit cards, or prepaid credit cards
There are no late fees, but partial or late payments may affect your ability to use Shop Pay installments in the future.
You can also pay off your balance early without any penalty.
If you choose to pay in 4 bi-weekly payments, your credit scores aren’t affected. If you decide to pay monthly, these payments may be reported to a credit bureau.
